CODE aims to provide young women with the tools they need to pursue their passions in STEM.

Why CODE GIRLS?

Started by a teen, Coding Outreach and Data Science Empowerment (CODE) is a platform for girls who are beginners to learn more about STEM, specifically dealing in the world of computing and data science. The graph below shows the disparity between men and women in the STEM field.

STEM

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

Data Science

Data science is about finding useful information from data to help make decisions and solve problems.

Coding

Coding means giving instructions to a computer in a language it understands, so it can do what you want, like making apps or websites.

Artificial Intelligence

AI, or Artificial Intelligence, refers to machines that think and learn like humans.

Python

Python is a type of object-oriented computer language.

Machine Learning

Machine learning is the process of teaching computers to learn from examples and improve at tasks.
